Ninth & Terrace Park

We visited Ninth & Terrance Park Playground today with my four young children, and despite the 98-degree heat, they had a wonderful time. The playground has swings, slides, and a nice basketball court, and one thing I really appreciated was how much shade the picnic area provided. Even on such a hot day, it made sitting and watching the kids much more comfortable. The park does have a water fountain, but it only seemed to be partially functioning. I also couldn't find any public restrooms in the immediate area, which made our visit a little challenging with four small children. The biggest downside was parking. There didn't seem to be a convenient designated parking area nearby. My children were excited to play, but I spent quite a while trying to find a legal place to park. I eventually parked along the roadside near the park, but several areas were marked "No Parking," so I found myself keeping an eye on both my children and my vehicle to make sure it wouldn't be towed. Overall, we had a great experience, and my kids really enjoyed this park. If the weather had been a little cooler and parking were easier, it would have been an even better visit. It has a play area for young children, a basketball court and a sitting area if you want to have a small family gathering. There is a baseball field too.

My grandson had a T-ball game at this park. The field was very nice and perfectly prepared despite the threat of rain. There's a nice playground adjacent to the field that can be used before or after the game or by siblings. The only downside is a complete lack of parking and that the field is not accessible for Gramps and his walker.

Such a great community park. We love the basketball courts and playground. Love how the courts have lights at night and a restroom to utilize. The lady that runs this city facility is just precious. She really cares about the people that utilize the amenities there. She continues to invite our families to special events happening there.

The playground a nice and has two separate structures - one for smaller and one for older children. The baseball field is small but there are places to sit and a small fence to limit shots rolling from the outfield. Basketball court has nice lines and no cracks in the cement. Limited parking though - only on street and exits are hard to see.
